2020… What a year!

For some, it brought disruption, pain, confusion, heartache, and feeling alone.

But, what if God was in it all?

What if he had designed it to bring clarity and purpose?

Could it be that this generation…. in fact ALL generations, would somehow see that where they lived was where God wanted them to be in this moment in history?

What if God wanted you to dream one size too big?

Normally, 300-400 students would ascend on Peoria to impact 20 different areas of the city. What if God had a bigger plan, a global plan? A plan for you to make a difference where you are.

MISSION PEORIA 2020 will look and feel different, intentional, and global.

We are asking you, students and adults, to take a week and make a difference. The beauty of MISSION PEORIA 2020 is anyone, anywhere, can make an impact. Young people, older people, previous MISSION PEORIA attendees, and people who have wanted to be involved but couldn’t, can now… for FREE. We have taken some of the main elements of MISSION PEORIA and we will bring them to you. We will challenge you in so many ways to do something new and fresh in your home, street, and city. Are you up for the challenge? Each day the MISSION PEORIA team will lead you in devotions, have lunch with you, direct you in ways to do localized service projects, and bring everyone together virtually for MISSION PEORIA NIGHTS. We will even have after parties via ZOOM. We want you to do this individually, or with small groups of friends or youth groups.

MISSION PEORIA GIVES BACK

We will also launch MISSION PEORIA GIVES BACK. This is a way that you can impact Dream Center Peoria by creatively raising money. This will help: provide food, shelter and support for our homeless women and children; provide backpacks and uniforms for Backpack Peoria; bring hope to students in the out of school programs; and bring the love of Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him right now. The goal is to raise $20,200. If 200 students/adults take up the challenge, and each raise $101, then we would hit our goal. If we all do our part, the goal is achievable. This challenge could also be done with small or large groups.
