This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana discuss the 1984 summer camp comedy romp Meatballs Part 2. In this Bill Murray-less sequel, a bunch of dumb 30-somethings (posing as teens) watch a bunch of dumb kids at a summer camp that encourages boxing to solve their problems. And an E.T. ripoff shows up to summer with the kids, because apparently in this corner of the galaxy, Earth is a cheap summer camp destination for financially strapped aliens. The usual summer camp nonsense ensues in this by-the-numbers comedy. But there are a few laughs and we had fun discussing this one.
