The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) has released a study examining women's access to communal land in the North West, Limpopo, and Eastern Cape provinces. The findings reveal that patriarchal norms and traditional structures often limit women's land ownership, frequently requiring them to rely on a male relative or child.
