Veridian is set to become one of the nation’s first net zero-energy communities, with greatly reduced energy needs through efficiency gains, and the balance of energy for vehicles, thermal, and electrical energy met by renewable energy. Matthew emphasizes the importance of identifying the community's purpose, defining its values, and creating clear guidelines to ensure that the community remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
