Speaking of cocktails, today Matthew is drinking a My Other Brother Ben while Ben is drinking Spring Cocktail #3. Recipes below.
My Other Brother Ben
- 2 oz London Dry Gin
- ¾ oz Earl Grey Syrup
- ¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
- ¼ oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur (adds a subtle cherry-almond note)
- 2 dashes Lavender Bitters
- Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon or lime twist, expressing the oils over the drink.
Spring Cocktail #3
- 1 3/4 oz Mezcal
- 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 1 bar spoon Green Chartreuse
- Combine all of the in a mixing glass with ice. Stir to desired dilution. Strain into a martini glass. Choke it down. I mean, enjoy.
