This is a subject very close to me as I went through the process not long ago after my RAF career came to a close. The transition from the military to civvy street is a very big and nerve racking step for any service leaver. A large percentage don't know where to start with their "2nd life" so to speak and become lost in the shuffle with no guidance or assistant. I was really excited to sit down with Peter Harrop who is the Military Lead at Yodel to have a very real and frank discussion about his experience when leaving and also to talk in depth the great steps that Yodel are doing to help service leavers not only with the transition but also going to great lengths to ensure the mental well being of the individual.
