This week we are joined by my friend and coach George Hickman. George Hickman is head coach of the new premier martial arts gym in Thailand, Bang Tao Muay Thai and MMA out of Phuket, Thailand. After spending years as head MMA coach at the infamous Tiger Muay Thai, George along with a few other teammates decided to open their own super facility where they can bring their own special style of coaching and hospitality at a different part of the island where fighters and guests can enjoy a unique training and vacation experience only Bang Tao Phuket, Thailand can provide. On this episode we speak to George about his experience helping grow Thai MMA in the country with helping upcoming Thai fighters such as Loma Lookboonmee and Top Noi Kiwram into the UFC rankings, we speak about moving to Bang Tao and starting the new gym, the golden era of Asian MMA traveling to China, becoming a new father of two children and traveling to Abu Dhabi and reuniting with the old team after years of training together.
