"Breaking News! We hear it every day, all day long. But more often than not, it’s just the same recycled stories meant to grab our attention. After a while, you begin to tune it out. However, when the real news—the real truth—breaks, many may not be listening, and it could be too late. Our amazing God, though, has been delivering true 'breaking news' for centuries. His holy Word, the Bible, is alive every single day. It’s filled with truth, promises, and answers to life’s deepest questions. The gospel message of Jesus Christ is clear for those willing to receive it. As Jesus said in John 18:37, 'Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.'
In today’s world, where truth seems to have 'stumbled in the streets' (Isaiah 59:14), we as Christians are called to be truth-tellers. Our good news—Jesus Christ’s gospel—is the ultimate breaking news for the unsaved. While the world may spread lies and dishearten us with its messages, we, the body of Christ, are bearers of a message that brings eternal hope. In John 8:44, Jesus reminds us that the devil is the father of lies, but we are called to stand for the truth that comes from God, the fountainhead of all truth.
At Liberty Christian Fellowship, we embrace our calling to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with love, patience, and truth, just as 2 Timothy 2:24-25 instructs us to. We aim to uplift everyone with the liberating truth of God's Word and provide hope in a world that desperately needs it."
