Raven-Symoné hosts The CW's upcoming original game show SCRABBLE. Symoné has been a household name and a fan favorite for most of her life. She commands an iconic Hollywood career as a multi-hyphenate actor, singer, producer, and director.
Most recently she starred, executive produced, and directed the self-titled and critically acclaimed Disney Channel series, "Raven's Home," which ran for 6 seasons. This series was a welcomed return to the Disney family after her long run as a teenager on "That's So Raven," which marked the first time in the Disney Channel's history that a Black woman starred in a self-titled comedy series. At age 19, Symoné was named producer of the series, which won four NAACP Image Awards, two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Children's Program, during its successful run.
Symoné got her start in television 33 years ago, when audiences fell in love with her portrayal of Olivia on the Emmy Award-winning series "The Cosby Show" for which she received a Young Artist Award for Exceptional Performance by a Young Actress. She later won a starring role in the comedy series "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," which aired for 5 seasons. Raven became a pop sensation when she joined the live-action version of "The Cheetah Girls" movie, which was based on the books of the same name. She starred in both Disney Channel Original Movies "The Cheetah Girls" and "Cheetah Girls 2," and the group became a phenomenon.
Her solo musical career has also spanned decades. She has released four studio albums, "Here's to New Dreams," "Undeniable," "This Is My Time," and "Raven-Symoné." Her talent and powerful vocal ability led her to Broadway, where she headlined the hit musical "Sister Act." While in New York, she also spent five seasons on the Emmy-winning ABC talk show "The View."
In addition to her on-camera work, Symoné is a prolific director and has several projects in development under her production banner, I See Pictures, which focuses on creating powerful and meaningful stories about underrepresented communities and championing LGBTQ+ voices.
Symoné lives in Los Angeles with her wife and producing partner, Miranda Pearman-Maday.
The CW's upcoming original game show SCRABBLE, hosted by Emmy® award-winning fan favorite actor, singer, producer, and director Raven-Symoné, is a captivating, fast-paced take on the global board-game phenomenon.
