We cover quotes from Louise Bourgeois, Agnes Martin, Dave Adey, Mark Rothko, Eva Hesse, Jerry Saltz, and Ursula von Rydingsvard. It's a call to arms for artists to embrace vulnerability and authenticity, to create not for applause but for the sheer necessity of expression.
