We might be a little late to get this episode to you - but we've a bumper double bill of comedies. Welcome to episode 10 of Managed Expectations with film fans Ju Shardlow and Tim Kennington. With fewer films being released at the moment and trips to the cinema only a distant memory, we covered TWO movies for some bumper fun content. First is "The King of Staten Island", directed by Judd Apatow ("Trainwreck", "Knocked Up," "The 40-Year-Old Virgin"), from a screenplay by Apatow, Pete Davidson, and Dave Sirus. It stars Pete Davidson as Scott Carlin, a 24-year old Staten Islander and wannabe tattoo artist. Scott struggles to come to terms with the fact that his mother (Marisa Tomei) is dating a firefighter (the same job his deceased father kept). "The King of Staten Island" is available now on Amazon Prime, Google and YouTube. Second up is "EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: The Story Of Fire Saga", directed by David Dobkin and written by Will Ferrell and Andrew Steele. When aspiring Icelandic musicians Lars (Will Ferrell) and Sigrit (Rachel McAdams) are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country at the world’s biggest song competition, they finally have a chance to prove that any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for.
