Forgiveness: No one is perfect, and conflicts are inevitable in any relationship. Learning to forgive and let go of past hurts and mistakes is essential for a healthy marriage.
Masetori and I share part of our past mistakes in our 19-year marriage journey and how we've forgiven each other along the way.
Remember to apologize sincerely when you are in the wrong, and be willing to forgive your partner when they make mistakes.
The Bible says in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
When we forgive, we're imitating God in our relationships with others
Forgiveness is good when you have to receive it and it's ugly when you have to give it.
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken.
Proverbs 15:13
As the offender, recognize that you need forgiveness too. Forgive yourself first in other to have room to receive it
