Ep 66: Hades - It’ll Work Its Way Into Your Bones

Usually when Jason suggest a game, Corri and Ben roll their eyes and grumble. Well that's what happened here too...but then they played Hades and TOTALLY CHANGED THEIR MINDS!!! Man this game is dope. Ben and Corri each put 80+ hours into it this month and wow. What a game. Hope you get a chance to play it, even if you've never played a rogue-like before (like 2/3 of us). Great story, fun gameplay, addictive setup all around. Check it out!

We start out checking in, then get into the development and making-of (6:30), then dive deeeeep into the gameplay after that (17:30). We chat about our favorite builds (31:45), our favorite characters (43:30), and Jason gives us an education in Rogues and Rogue-likes (58:00). Eventually we meaner on down to the discopub for some "What's The Drink? What's The Song?" (1:12:15), and visit the Recommendation Station (1:22:00). After that we have our Dev Spotlight (1:37:15) and a lengthy segment of MOLMF! In The News! (1:39:18). And of course we end things talking about next month's game (1:51:03), which is kind of a throwback...in a sense...get psyched!
