* The significance of Jesus Christ’s resurrection
1. Proof that Jesus Christ was the true God
* Matthew 16:21 “From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.” (NIV)
2. The reason for the dramatic change in Jesus Christ’s disciples
3. The certainty of the forgiveness of sins and resurrection of the body of those who believe in Jesus Christ
* 1 Corinthians 15:20 “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” (NIV)
