Our program presents Mozart's Violin Concerto #5, the last of the five concertos composed by Mozart in 1775, when he was 19 years old. The concert is nicknamed "The Turkish" because its last movement is a Rondo "alla Turca" , a new innovation popularized in the operas in that time.
