Self-care has become a buzzword in contemporary lifestyles, touted across social media as the key to well-being. But how can we sort out the juice and the fluff? What’s a myth and what’s not? Jill and Linda are back with another discussion about the importance of self-care, sharing personal highs and lows from their past week.   • Is self-care optional? Whether you're aware of it or not, practicing self-care improves your well-being exponentially.
  • Does self-care have to be expensive and lavish? Simple activities such as a walk outside or reading a book can be self-care.
  • Is self-care selfish? There's a fine line between caring for yourself and neglecting your responsibilities.
  • Saying ‘no’ to events or engagements that overextend you is not selfish; it’s smart.
  • How can self-care backfire? Doom-scrolling on social media can seem restful but usually isn’t.

Understanding self-care's true essence is an ongoing journey. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just beginning, breaking through the myths and discovering what truly nourishes you is crucial.
