The Pandemic has seen an increase in mental illness because of isolation or being locked down during the year. There seems to be a frenzy or manic to be outside and at times we are going so fast that we find ourselves in dangerous situations.
This is not just to get the fresh air, or sea breeze. I do think that some people are experiencing breakdowns and I wanted to share a piece I wrote several years ago of one mental issue that is in our society and sometimes we do not know it's happening in our family or with our friends.
I have a friend who has Bipolar Disorder and I have seen the issues that arise when medication is not administered. I hope you will enjoy the piece and be mindful of your family or friends who may be experiencing some mental issues at this time.
