When Carrie first dated her husband Eric, she became an avid student of his character. She wanted to know everything about him to determine whether he would be safe to entrust with her heart and future children. In the same way, she has studied the character of Jesus, learning about his desire to protect and provide for us, his compassion and empathy towards humanity, and his great power. All of these convinced her that he was truly trustworthy.
