I’m Kathryn Berkow and I’d like to introduce the second season of “ON” a podcast about cultivating student engagement in higher ed. This podcast celebrates that “ON” feeling when students are learning in your classroom and the material is engaging, inclusive, and effective.

This season starts on September 13th and includes interviews with some of my role models for course excellence, a live panel event on small teaching practices that can increase engagement, and rebroadcasts of my interviews on one of my favorite higher ed podcasts, Tea for Teaching. I hope you enjoy the variety of discussions, all aimed at engaging our students, including topics like cultivating community, challenging our understanding of the status quo, and focusing on the meaning of our work.
