SERIES SYNOPSIS: Open-Mic (the sit-com) is a Rom-Com in reverse. Daph feels as outdated as the motifs on her husband's tee-shirts. To escape Reg's torpor she seeks sanctuary in their garden shed. There, she discovers her old guitar, setting her off on a journey to re-discover past glories. But the hustle and bustle of OPEN-MIC nights are a far cry form the conservative folk evenings she recalls with such affection.
OPEN-MIC follows Daph's hilarious exploits through the vagaries of the open-mic music scene, and the many characters she meets, all seeking that elusive gig. Will Daph beat them to it, or will Reg, or the spiteful Zeetuay, scupper her dreams?.
