In our comfort zones we do the same routines and engage in the same habits. To move out of the comfort zone, we have to change habits. One of those habits is trying to separate emotions from any situation. When the outcome matters, you can’t take the emotion out. Further, there is information in those emotion – both yours and the other person’s. In negotiating a solution, or in any disagreement about the path forward, there are seven tensions.
