Tracey Moffatt, MHA, BSN is the System Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Vice President for Quality at Ochsner Health (OH) headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, and she’s joining us to talk about her compelling career progression from a bedside nurse to a key healthcare leader.
We can’t overstate the importance of nursing and Tracey’s role at Ochsner helps ensure that the system has the appropriate supply of nurses for their 40+ hospitals across the state of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The experience she gained working on the frontlines gives her a perspective that most leaders in the healthcare system don’t possess and that’s a key reason for her move into management.
