Hello hello hello! Welcome to our very special Christmas episode of Really Good Exposure! We're joined by the absolute badass that is Kaytlin Bailey. Kaytlin is a writer, a comedian, host of 'The Oldest Profession' podcast and founder and CEO of 'Old Pros' - a non profit media organisation that uses storytelling to advocate for sex workers’ rights. Kaytlin's phenomenal solo show 'Whore's Eye View' will be on in London from 3rd-7th December and I must insist that everyone reading this get tickets immediately here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/whores-eye-view-kaytlin-bailey-tickets-1034970433427 Kaytlin and I get into how we both found our Edinburgh fringe experiences, how we're going to be spending the holidays and we break down the naked, drunken origins of some of our favourite modern day Christmas traditions... We also talk about our best and worst Christmas jobs, why Santa was coined the 'Patron Saint of Sex Workers' and why the strip club is the jolliest place to be on Christmas Eve. Find out more about the Old Pros organisation via their website: https://oldprosonline.org/ Sign up to the Old pros mailing list here: https://oldpros.respond.ontraport.net/ Listen to 'The Oldest Profession' podcast here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-oldest-profession-podcast/id1296601569 Old Pro's instagram: @OldProsOnline Kaytlin's Instagram: @KaytlinBailey A lot of the topics we talk about on Really Good Exposure relate to women’s rights, worker rights and the sorry state both of these are in right now. I believe that women have the right to choose what they do with their bodies and how they make their money, and I believe that how we choose to use our bodies should never, ever alleviate perpetrators of violence from accountability. I believe all workers deserve basic human rights and protections. And I believe that predators are always responsible for violence, not victims. If you agree, please consider donating to National Ugly Mugs. National Ugly Mugs (NUM) is a pioneering, national organisation that provides greater access to justice and protection for sex workers. Sex workers are targeted by dangerous individuals and face obstacles to reporting, access to services and police protection. Those who harm sex workers offend against all of us! You can donate to National Ugly Mugs here: https://nationaluglymugs.org/donate/ and you can follow National Ugly Mugs on instagram at @NationalUglyMugs Thank you!
