Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!
This one felt like a natural for Versus Mode. It is the classic rivalry once again ignited! Nintendo Vs Sega, Sonic Vs Mario. Many a battle was fought in the name of Sonic or Mario in the 90's and if you told me back then that one day Sonic would release a new game in the classic franchise, just 3 days before the next big new classic Mario game, I would have expected blood to be shed! Nevermind the fact that both titles are available on the Nintendo Switch! Although the rivalry isn't what it once was, it is still apt to pit these 2 titans against one another. Both of these games are fantastic, but there can only be one winner when all is said and done. Tune in this week to hear which one emerged victorious in this inevitable episode of Versus Mode!
