Welcome to another exciting episode of the REI Freedom podcast! In this episode, we had the pleasure of interviewing Lindsay Sharma, a real estate investor, wife, and mother of three. Lindsay shared her incredible journey in the world of real estate investing, from starting out as an executive assistant for a local investor to launching her own business.

Lindsay emphasized the importance of viewing real estate investing as a marketing and people business. She shared her preferred methods of generating leads, including direct mail, cold calling, and Facebook ads. Lindsay also highlighted the significance of building rapport with sellers and the power of follow-up in securing deals.

One of the standout stories Lindsay shared was about a deal she acquired through a follow-up call. After seven canceled deals, she persevered and eventually closed a deal on a package of three mobile homes with land. Through her strategic approach and detailed note-taking, Lindsay was able to make a profit of $32,000.

We were also joined by our acquisition guru, Dan Toback, who emphasized the importance of building rapport and connecting with sellers on a personal level. He shared his insights on the power of follow-up and the significance of how you follow up with sellers.

Lindsay's success in a short amount of time is truly inspiring, and she is now focused on empowering other women in the industry. She is in the process of launching a wholesaling course specifically tailored for busy women who want to make their mark in real estate investing.
