Welcome back to The Retro Blood as we Begin this November talking all about Werewolf movies in the 1980’s. We start off by talking some quick thoughts on this movie and giving the schedule.
Then we get into our weekly History Segment where we talk about what was going on in Pro Wrestling and Metal around the movie release date September 18, 1984.
In Pro Wrestling we talk Mid Atlantic TV show from September 15, 1984. James goes over the card and the main story of Ricky Steamboat and Wahoo McDaniel and the Us belt being put up in a Tournament.
In Metal we talk about the Queensryche and their album “The Waring” we talk the band and the style of music they are.
Then we get into Who book this Shit!!
We talked about the Writer of the original story Angela Carter.
We talked about the director Neil Jordan and what he has done in films.
We talked about the Bloody Chamber and the Short story of Company of Wolves.
We talked about the design of the movie and Neil and Angela wanting to work together again and why it didn’t happen.
Then we get into the full review with Twins and Granny's Crazy stories, The deep meaning of this movie with guys being the heels. The cool Wolves transformation. We talk about the plot and it being 3 different stories in one.
