Garr Russell – Founder and CEO of Fireside RV Rental and Author of My Wheel-Estate Story: From lawnmowers to RV’s, my entrepreneurial journey filled with faith, failures, and fun times

Entrepreneurs always think about how to turn something into a business,
or how to turn a liability into an asset. So, I put my RV on Craigslist for
rental and within hours I had inquiries.

Garr Russell is the Founder and CEO of Fireside RV Rental. Having started, scaled, and sold several companies, Garr’s genius lies in understanding systems, processes, sales, marketing, leadership, and forging the way for others. In 2016 he entered the RV space with just his personal travel trailer and has since expanded to hundreds of RV’s under management and 8 figures in RV rentals under his belt. Garr is paving the way in the RV rental world as the nation’s first RV rental management franchise with locations all around the US and projects to close in on 100 locations by the end of 2024. Garr’s franchisees earn a whopping 40%+ management fee per RV under management. Garr can also speak on fully embracing the nomadic lifestyle. He, his wife, and four children have all been RV living full-time for the last 5 years. He will highlight the educational aspects of RVing, such as exposing children to diverse cultures, history, geography, and nature through homeschooling. The important part of street medicine or street outreach is getting to know
people, getting to develop trust and developing a relationship. I use medicine
as an engagement tool.

Dr. Susan Partovi has dedicated her career to helping underserved communities. After completing medical school at Thomas Jefferson University, she returned home to Los Angeles to train at a county hospital, Harbor UCLA, in family medicine. She began working at the Venice Family Clinic where she helped create the first street medicine team, and at Homeless Health Care L.A., where she now serves as their Medical Director. Additionally, she works for the L.A. County Department of Health Services, where she worked in the L.A. County jail system and started the first street medicine team in Skid Row. Dr. Partovi also started the Health Care Advocacy Group for medical students at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and was taking third-year medical students on annual trips to Haiti before the pandemic began and kidnapping gangs became rampant in the country. She co-founded H.E.A.L. (Health Care, Empowerment, Advocacy and Learning) which supports her projects in Haiti. Dr. Partovi has solidified her position as a leading expert in homeless and street medicine, and continues to treat patients and educate future doctors around the country.
