In this tense chapter of "They Answered the Call," a covert special forces team, led by Lieutenant Diego, is deep within Insectoid territory, scouting an enormous underground Hive on the insectoid Builder World of Kepler-186f. After ten days of stealthy observation, the team uncovers a massive subterranean structure that may house a queen—the key target of their mission. As the team devises a daring plan to collapse part of the shipyard above the Hive, tensions rise, and unexpected alliances form. With the clock ticking and danger all around, Diego and his team must navigate the perilous balance between completing their mission and staying undetected. Will their plan succeed, or will they become another casualty in the relentless war against the Insectoids?
