Fatman Scoop discusses growing up hip hop, taking meetings with executives, being a record promoter in the late eighties and rising to fame as a DJ on Hot 97 for two decades. Fatman Scoop is most recognizable for his smash hit Be Faithful and his features with Mariah Carey “It’s Like That”, Missy Elliot “Lose Control” and Timbaland, “Drop”.
Fatman Scoop recounts his journey coming up in Harlem, New York, the birth place of hiphop in the era of foundation classic rap music. Fatman Scoop recounts his journey and the secrets that happened behind the scenes that motivated him and drove his success.
