She's been accused of being the wife of Satan, the mother of all demons, stealing babies in the night, and is even thought to have been Adam's first wife, who some believe was the serpent that brought an end to Paradise by enticing Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. The legend of Lilith has been resurging in recent years, and she's at the forefront of some modern feminist movements for her refusal to submit to Adam.
