Trudie Strobel and Sharon Kagan are two extraordinary and beautiful artists who have a lot in common. They both were changed by the Holocaust. Trudie spent up to age seven in camps. Sharon was five years old when she started hearing the vivid stories from the people her mother saved from the Holocaust. They both work with needles: Trudie as a master embroiderer and Sharon with knitting as one of the important mediums she is working with at the moment.

But the most important thing that they share is that they both have stories of how their art helped heal their hearts. They also are passionate about making a difference with their art and their hearts -- and they both do exactly that with great success.
