Our dear teacher, Shaykh Abdurrahmann Murad, joined us during this year's United Islam Awareness Week (UIAW), travelling through 6 cities and 4 provinces across Western Canada to present Islam's solutions to the Mental Health Crisis.
Sh. Murad is currently completing his Masters in Counselling and is actively involved in youth programs, counseling, interfaith activities, and public speaking. He counsels new Muslims and has developed programs for understanding Islam.
He holds an Master of Arts in Halal Industry Management from IIUM (International Islamic University of Malaysia), a Bachelor of Arts in Shariah (Islamic Law) from Imam Muhammad University and is currently the Imam of MarkazulIslam in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
