BARRI COHEN is an award-winning writer, director and producer of documentary films. Among her awards and nominations are those for her feature doc, Toxic Trespass: Children’s Health and the Environment (WGC winner), and the recently co-produced Phyllis Ellis film, Toxic Beauty – which garnered an International Emmy nomination and several CSA awards. Cohen’s latest film, Unloved: Huronia’s Forgotten Children, premiered at Hot Docs in 2022, won the 3rd prize Audience Award, a DGC Award, and has been nominated for four CSA awards.
