UT sees fewer foster families, less support for UT kids aging out of system Nonprofits working with foster care kids want them to know services are available to help them navigate life once they are out of the system. The latest statistics from the nonprofit Utah Foster Care show around 1,700 children are in foster care, and Latino and Hispanic children are overrepresented.
