Summary:
As part of his agenda to halt the mass migration of illegal immigrants into the United States, President Trump signed an executive order indicating the administration’s interpretation of the 14th Amendment as not extending citizenship to children born in the United States to mother’s who are here illegally or on a temporary visa if the father is not a citizen or permanent resident. Tom analyzes the constitutionality of this interpretation and the likelihood of its success in a SCOTUS proceeding.
