Rich is best known as the author of The Attributes: 25 Hidden Drivers of Optimal Performance, which draws heavily from his twenty years as a Navy SEAL Officer. Through his work in the world-renowned SEAL selection process, which whittles candidates down to the most optimal performers, Rich consistently found himself analyzing what core attributes actually led to success. Often, he would find himself surprised by which candidates would make it through and which would not.
