Making Every Moment Intentional with Chris Stricklin
Manage episode 353451971 series 3422630
Beyond the first dream, which is often about external success, you must find a life goal. This has to be a life goal that is always present with you, no matter what you achieve. It has to be something that cannot be actually completed — life is about striving towards that forever. I’m grateful that Chris Stricklin has helped me grasp this reflection in our conversation.
Chris Stricklin is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel, two times best-selling author, company president, proud father of 4, and dedicated husband to his high school sweetheart. I saw Chris speak at a conference, and it really moved me, which is why I invited him to the podcast. Today he shares his thoughts on achieving goals, defining success, surviving trauma, living intentionally, and becoming better every day. My hope is that while listening to this episode, you get at least one little nugget of wisdom. If you hear something that inspires you to change your life, please go for it. You will grow from this talk as much as we did.
“Put yourself around people that challenge you in different ways, sometimes in uncomfortable ways.” -Chris Stricklin
