Mark Hawwa is a visionary who transformed a simple idea into a global movement. Inspired by a GQ magazine image of Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm in "Mad Men," sitting suavely on a classic Matchless motorcycle, Mark yearned to shatter the rough-edged stereotype often associated with bikers. He envisioned a world where motorcyclists were seen in a different light, not as the notorious one percenters or "bad boys," but as dapper individuals enjoying the ride of life.
With this image in mind, Mark created "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride" (DGR), an event where riders don their finest suits and take to the city streets with open-faced helmets and wide grins. The inaugural DGR was driven by the desire to dress sharply, share a few laughs, and pivot away from the conventional biker image. Mark's initiative quickly outgrew its humble beginnings, blossoming into an international phenomenon that has reshaped the public's perception of motorcyclists across the globe. With a touch of elegance and a strong sense of community, Mark Hawwa has spearheaded a stylish revolution on two wheels, proving that change can begin with a simple ride through the heart of the city.
