Here the poem is basically about the misery little unknown is under becomes of the mothers decision,i get it the mother must have gone through alot but this poem isnt to empathize with her but little unknown who is broken , please always find strength in your weakness especially when you are in charge of a growing life they wouldnt be better in your absence rather youre simply shifting more burdens on them making life difficult then it was already for them ...
