In 1927 Hilda Leyel founded the Society of Herbalists, which would later become the Herb Society, with the aim of supporting the practice of herbal medicine in Britain. I didn't know about it until Barbara came up and chatted to me at Shrewsbury Flower Show, she was madly passionate about the power of herbs and what the society now does for people across the UK, so I invited her to sit down and join me in a comfy arm chair and tell you all on this episode of the Sip & Sow Podcast.
