Being able to make something out of nothing is a valuable and impressive skill to have. Especially when that skill is making a useful tool (such as a knife) out of hard steal.
Blade smithing has been around for many,many years and it is an amazing craft. With the type of work I do knifes play a very important role in my day to day operations and I have grown to really appreciate the craftsmanship and detail that goes into high end knives.
My guest today has mastered this craft and has made some really stunning knives over the years. Martin Seck owner of Panda Bear Forge is a local North Carolina blade smith who has taken his skills to Forged in Fire during season 8 of the show.
