Hello, it's AlohaAloha. How are you? Today I will be speaking in English. I will try to speak slowly, so please listen carefully. Here is my journal, as follows.
Since I haven't been able to remember everything, today I decided to record myself reading the journals you all have helped me correct. Ah, it was bad. I found I did not remember most of the vocabulary that I had looked up in the dictionary. But, on the bright side, the app I have been using to help me keep my notes in order seems to be working out.
Today I thought I would record myself reading this journal in English, and then later, record myself afterwards reading it in Japanese when it has been corrected. I think doing that could help me to comprehend and remember more of the vocabulary and grammar I come across.
This time, I have written my journal in English first so that I could use the expressions which were most natural to me. When I write in Japanese first and then English, I find that my English doesn't sound as natural. Is this the same for you?
