Almighty God,
We confess that we are sinners in need of Your mercy. We have turned away from You, Followed our own desires, And failed to live up to Your holy standard. Your Word has exposed the truth about our hearts: There is no one righteous, not even one. We have not sought You, We have spoken deceitfully, And our actions have brought harm and brokenness. Yet, in our hopeless condition, You sent Jesus. We confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, And we believe in our hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Through Him alone, we ask for forgiveness. Cleanse us from our sin, renew us by Your Spirit, And break the hold of sin in our lives. We trust not in our own works, but in the perfect work of Christ. Help us to live in the light of His grace— Walking humbly, loving mercy, and seeking You daily. Remind us that apart from Jesus, we have no hope, But through Him, we are made new. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.
