The University of Washington is having one of the best months in recent memory. The football team beat Oregon for the second time this season, is in the playoff against Texas, they have brought in some quality transfers, Husky players and coaches are racking up awards, and are littered through the All American lists. The men’s and women’s basketball programs are doing well with the women’s team sitting at 11-0 with a win over WSU and the men’s team beating Gonzaga for the first time since 2005. Washington will also be featured in the big screen as Boys in the Boat comes to theaters on Christmas which follows the Washington men’s crew team that won gold in the 1936 Olympic Games.
