Timon talks with Owen Anderson, professor of philosophy at Arizona State University, about his recent articles at American Reformer, why natural law is essential for Christians, and his book on Job. Read Owen's latest article on American Reformer: https://americanreformer.org/2024/07/a-day-of-courage-and-inspiration/ #OwenAnderson #Philosophy #Religion #Theology #NaturalLaw #Job #SacrificialLove #SelfDefense Owen Anderson, Ph.D. is a professor of philosophy, religious studies, and theology at Arizona State University. He is a pastor at Historic Christian Church of Phoenix and a certified jiu-jitsu instructor. As a Christian, he believes that God is real, humans have sinned against God, and that God has revealed to us in the Bible how to be redeemed through Christ. His research looks at how there is a clear general revelation of God and His moral law. This means that all people can and should know God and glorify Him. Out of his many books, his favorite is "Job: A Philosophical Commentary" which deals with the problem of meaning in a world of great suffering.
