Hosts Scott and BJ get an important newsworthy item out of the way, and then the rest of this landmark episode is spent diving into Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin, a cinematic experience of the senses that ended a film franchise that began in 1989. Though a proposed sequel was immediately canceled after Batman & Robin‘s debut, this misfortune cleared the way for Christopher Nolan to come in with his own trilogy nearly 8 years later.
