Penn State starts out week on fire

The Penn State recruiting staff wasted little time getting momentum off its win over West Virginia to start the year. On Monday, long-time wide receiver target Matthew Outten flipped from Virginia Tech to Penn State. Then, on Tuesday, top offensive line target Malachi Goodman committed to the program. We'll recap those decisions and discuss what we've learned about them since then with recruiting experts Ryan Snyder and Sean Fitz.

Penn State practice update

Meanwhile, the current Penn State Nittany Lions are gearing up for their contest against Bowling Green on Saturday. We'll Check in with the program and give you some high-level thoughts about what we saw at open practice yesterday.

However, the game is only part of the story for Penn State recruiting. We'll preview the top names from the upcoming recruiting classes that join the Nittany Lions on the sidelines for the noon kick. With a non-conference opponent that doesn't bring much juice to the field, did the recruiting staff secure enough important players to get a recruiting win this weekend?
