We are weary because we wear yokes of lust, anger, revenge, and envy. Why is the yoke Jesus offers easy? Because his yoke is his relationship with the Father - to please the Father. The yoke he offers us is one that has been designed just for us. And we don’t wear it alone - Jesus binds himself to us. He says, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest”
