President Trump was elected as a change agent who ran on a platform to rethink and reshape the role of the federal government. One week into his second administration, President Trump signed executive orders to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion offices. Meanwhile, the new Department of Government Efficiency is eyeing even bigger cuts. FOX News Washington-based correspondent Mark Meredith shares his reporting on the administration's disruptive approach and explains how jobs will look differently in the federal workforce.

President Trump campaigned heavily on ending the war in Ukraine, going so far as to say he believed he would "have that done in 24 hours" while on the campaign trail. Though this did not happen during the President's first week in office, he has begun putting pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin -- threatening taxes, tariffs, and sanctions if the Russian President doesn't come to the negotiating table. National Security Analyst and Vice President of Defense at the Lexington Institute, Dr. Rebecca Grant weighs in on how effective she believes President Trump will be in putting an end to this years-long conflict and the likelihood of Ukraine becoming a member of NATO.

President Trump and his hand-picked leader of DOGE, Elon Musk, have set their sights on cutting funding to the U.S. Agency for International Development, known as USAID. On Monday, Trump told reporters he “loves the concept” of helping around the world “but [the organization] turns out to be all radical left lunatics.” Some Democrats have expressed outrage; however, many lawmakers say the truth is that USAID is spending federal dollars wastefully and on the wrong things. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX) joins the Rundown to explain why cutting USAID may be necessary and what to make of Trump’s personnel changes at the FBI. Later today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with President Donald Trump to discuss Israel's "victory over Hamas," hostages release logistics, and dealing with Iran. Netanyahu is the first foreign leader to visit the White House since President Trump took office last month, highlighting the new administration's priorities. Despite the ceasefire, the Prime Minister is facing intense pressure to resume the war in Gaza, and the U.S. is working to extend the truce. Later, Colin suggests potential challenges in the first 100 days of his presidency that could derail his goals, highlighting the importance of securing an early win for the Republican Party with tax cuts. The National Assessment of Education Progress is given to fourth and eighth graders every two years. The results are dubbed the nation's report card, and math and reading scores trend lower than pre-pandemic levels. The Department of Education says the results are "heartbreaking," and students who are already behind won't be able to catch up. Education researcher at the American Institute for Research and the University of Washington, Dan Goldhaber, joins to discuss what states are the "bright spots," why it's hard for students to recover from pandemic learning loss, and the importance of quality teachers. Plus, commentary from the host of “Tomi Lahren is Fearless on Outkick,” Tomi Lahren. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…
