We speak with Riskified research analyst Reka Eszter Bodo, who shares with us what three years of looking into fraud patterns taught her about fraud victims. One issue we discuss is how fraud disproportionately targets marginalized communities, and how customer-facing employees can play a key role in making shopping safer for everyone. Finally, Reka illustrates how she uses her unique insights to help train Riskified’s machine learning models to perform better, less biased fraud detection.
